About Us

The Inner Banks Home Builders Association is a professional trade organization dedicated to educating, informing, and promoting the building industry community. Formerly known as the Greenville-Pitt County Home Builders Association, we were officially chartered by the National Association of Home Builders in January of 1973. As our membership has grown, so has our service area, and for that reason, we have changed our name to reflect the diversity of our organization. Our membership is comprised of licensed building contractors, building material suppliers, bankers, insurance agents, Realtors, interior designers, and many other skilled professionals who provide support services to the building industry in eastern North Carolina. The association is a nonprofit, professional membership involved in every facet of home construction in the region. As your neighbors and members of the community, our goal is the promotion and betterment of the building industry, while improving the quality of life for all in the Inner Banks region. New name, renewed commitment, and dedicated to inspiring excellence and serving our members and community.
